The month of June was occupied with fulfilling my religious obligations of fsting during the month of Ramadhan.
Although I was unable to remain very active during the month, there was a lot that happened in terms of climbing mountains, hitting goal weights, attending the International Yoga Day, and the birth of my new venture: Summit Seekers (Yes, I promise, you will hear about this soon)
July, will be less active, and predominant on my list of things to do will be to find a job and follow through with the FLL targets (it’s gone one way to long now).
So, here are my goals for the month, with a review of how June went:
AOB Spiritual – I managed to achieve all the goals that I had laid out for myself for the month of Ramadhan. Fasting, Giving Charity, Finishing the Holy Quran, and Volunteering for a charitable cause. I intend to carry our these achievements across the rest of the remaining months and do as much as I possibly can to strengthen myself spiritually (don’t worry, I’m not turning orthodox here)
AOB Social Entrepreneurship – I started a Social Entrepreneurship that combines my passion of climbing with raising funds for a cause. The idea was born with the need to add purpose to everything one does with life, and in this instance, it was getting fit, enjoying the great outdoors and doing charity. The legal process is still underway, and we (have joined hands with a fellow climbing buddy) have just identified the methods of raising funds. We have our first climb in July and we are in the process of “recruiting” members to climb. Wish me luck!
What we have to look forward to this month:
- YWSE Training & How She Does it Dinner Event – 4th July
